Instrumentation and Control Technician
The role of the Instrument and Control Technician is to compete instrumentation oilfield maintenance. This can include EFM gas, liquid meter, and device verifications. Technicians are expected to provide a limited amount of sampling and verification of fuel, flare, and vent data while onsite. You must reside in the Grande Prairie / Dawson Creek / Fort St. John areas.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete technical troubleshooting and field maintenance
- Complete wellsite and facility instrumentation shutdown checks and inspections
- Complete EFM gas calibrations and verifications
- Complete on-site liquid meter verifications
- Understand, interpret and troubleshoot Basic RTU, EFM, and PLC configurations
- Interpret P&ID’s and measurement schematics
- Validate fuel, flare, and vent data for on site equipment inventories
- Complete gas and liquid sampling
- Apply AER Directive 017 regulations and BCER measurement guidelines to work habits and procedures
- Understand basic regulatory requirements and measurement best practices

Qualifications
- Instrument Mechanic Journeyman or Apprentice. Consideration given for Instrumentation engineering technologists and/or industrial electricians with strong instrumentation experience
- In-depth knowledge of field activities, upstream oil and gas facilities
- Fluent with Microsoft Office, Google, and general software
- Required HSE training for field work
- Valid Alberta Class 5 operator’s license or equivalent with clean driver abstract
- Work in vicinity of high-pressure lines and electrical systems
- Experience working with basic hand tools
- Off-road driving experience an asset
Physical Requirements
- Field environment and standard office
- Will be exposed to worksite hazards while performing related task
- Capable of lifting objects up to 50 lbs with aid as required

Measurement Consultant
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Measurement Consultant with a strong foundation in Alberta’s regulatory landscape – specifically EPAP (Enhanced Production Audit Program), MARP (Measurement, Accounting, and Reporting Plan Requirements for Thermal Bitumen Schemes), and AER Directive 017. This role supports clients to ensure compliance, improve operational efficiency, and audit readiness across Western Canada’s upstream sector.
Key Responsibilities
EPAP & MARP Compliance:
- Support the planning, scheduling, and execution of EPAP assessments and measurement reviews.
- Maintain current knowledge of Directive 017, EPAP and MARP requirements, applying them in practical client contexts.
- Assist in identifying and correcting non-conformities and audit triggers.
Measurement Audits & Reporting:
- Work closely with senior measurement specialists to resolve regulatory and third-party audit queries.
- Provide measurement guidance related to metering, allocations, and facility reporting standards.
- Navigate reporting systems including Petrinex, OneStop, and IRIS.
Project Delivery & Documentation:
- Develop and maintain metering schematics and measurement documentation packages.
- Contribute to the creation of client-facing reports and letters that communicate findings, risks, and improvement opportunities.
- Participate in continuous improvement projects to enhance regulatory workflows and measurement accuracy.
Regulatory Interpretation & Client Support:
- Translate AER expectations into operational best practices.
- Act as a point of contact for clients needing practical support in applying regulatory requirements across their operations.
- Proactively identify measurement efficiency opportunities and regulatory gaps.

Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in oil and gas operations, with at least 1 year in measurement and/or regulatory reporting.
- Strong communication and technical writing skills for both internal and client-facing documentation.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and general business software.
- Ability to travel to client sites and field locations across Alberta and Saskatchewan.
