ALBERTA METHANE EMISSIONS PROGRAM (AMEP)

Our industry experts can assist you with AMEP, a government funded program aimed at reducing methane emissions. Intricate offers advisory and support when it comes to adhering to compliance standards.

The Alberta Methane Emissions Program, often known as AMEP, is a programme whose primary objective is to reduce the amount of methane emitted by companies operating in Alberta’s oil and gas sector. The Technology Innovation and Emissions Reduction (TIER) system is the one that is providing financial support for the effort. The Alberta Methane Emissions Program (AMEP) is a multi-year effort on the part of the provincial government of Alberta to aid in the modification of government regulations, the reduction of industry expenditures, and the assurance of best practises for methane detection and management.
